S. David
and Co. was formed in 1977 as “The Spencer Company” primarily working in the
residential area.
It soon
became apparent that the passion of the Company was in the commercial field
which is when S. David was officially incorporated (1980) and the logo and the
Company’s identity were born.
We began
working for many of our present day clients as the transition from one name
to the other occurred.

The mid
1980’s brought “business plans” and “organizational structure” to the Company
and Industrial projects. We also became active in many trade and civic
organizations

In 1990 we
became a “State Certified Drug Free Work Place”, as we continued to evolve from
a “group of painters” to a Florida based Corporation doing business in painting
and paint related services.
The 1990’s
brought state licenses (Mississippi, Louisiana and Arizona to name a few) and
the organizational structure we have today. I’d better not forget it also
brought computers, estimating packages, cell phones and a whole new way to work
smarter and faster.
Now into
the 21st Century we realize that there is still much to learn.
That our
training must not only help prepare our people for the future; but to be on the
same paths as our clients so we can help them prepare for their future as well.
